Shining Stars Summer Program
The Shining Stars summer program is a virtual learning experience designed to enrich the learning of K-8 Baltimore City Public Schools students. Shining Stars will begin on July 13 and will conclude on August 13, 2020. Programming will run Monday-Thursday every week from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Each day, students will receive an hour and a half of whole group math instruction and an hour and a half of whole group reading instruction. Small group/intervention will be provided to students in need on a weekly basis. Students receiving weekly intervention could be asked to participate online for an additional 30 minutes between 12:30 and 1:30 PM each day.
Opportunities for exercise and other enrichment activities will also be available for students to take part in independently throughout the week. The Shining Stars summer program will help students retain learning from this past year and prepare them for success in the upcoming school year!
