End of School Year Letter
Dear AG Family,
It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is here. While the last three months have been unlike anything any of us have ever experienced, we as a community worked together to meet the challenges. Thank you for all that you’ve done to help navigate online learning with your child. At the heart of it though, we’ve missed seeing your students and we know that much needs to happen in the fall to accelerate everyone’s learning. While it is unclear what school may look like in the fall, we will be ready.
Much of our summer will be spent planning for student learning in the fall. Once we receive guidance from the school district, we will work to ensure that entry into the fall for students is safe while delivering high quality instruction. Together we have learned a lot in the last few months. Personally, as a principal and mother of 5, the juggling between work, school, and personal life was extremely hard. So we’ve taken the lessons we have learned and will continue to develop stronger instructional practices through digital platforms. Please expect updates during the summer.
This week, we bid an emotional farewell to our 8th graders, the future class of 2024 in a video tribute. It is heartwarming, funny, inspirational, and memorable. If you haven’t done so already – check it out on our AG School website or AG’s facebook page.

You can also find the link for registering Pre-K students for next year on these web pages. All other registrations are currently on hold until we get further updates.

Querida familia de AG:
Es difícil creer que el final del año escolar esté aquí. Si bien los últimos tres meses han sido diferentes a todos los que hemos experimentado, nosotros, como comunidad, trabajamos juntos para enfrentar los desafíos. Gracias por todo lo que ha hecho para ayudar a navegar el aprendizaje en línea con su hijo. Sin embargo, en el fondo, hemos extrañado ver a sus estudiantes y sabemos que mucho tiene que suceder en el otoño para acelerar el aprendizaje de todos. Si bien no está claro cómo se verá la escuela en el otoño, estaremos listos.
Gran parte de nuestro verano lo pasaremos planeando el aprendizaje de los estudiantes en el otoño. Una vez que recibamos orientación del distrito escolar, trabajaremos para asegurar que la entrada en el otoño para los estudiantes sea segura mientras brindamos instrucción de alta calidad. Juntos hemos aprendido mucho en los últimos meses. Personalmente, como directora y madre de 5 hijos, el malabarismo entre el trabajo, la escuela y la vida personal fue extremadamente difícil. Así que hemos tomado las lecciones que hemos aprendido y continuaremos desarrollando prácticas educativas más sólidas a través de plataformas digitales. Por favor espere actualizaciones durante el verano.
